I had the privilege of being one of the facilitators for multi-level SBI CITIZEN Orientation Proramme , on 04/02/2010 & 05/02/2010 at our Jorhat Centre. At the end of the programme on 05/02/2010, when everybody had left the room except for both the facilitators who were closing down the system etc., one of the lady participants came in and said that she wanted to say something to us.
She said that she works in one of our branches in our Dibugarh Region and her husband who was also a SBI emploee posted in the same region, passed away on 17/01/2010 due to heart attack. As such she had requested her Branch Manager that, as she is mentally disturbed, she may be excused of, from attending this programme. Branch Manager advised her that as this is a very important programme, she should prepare to attend it. Reluctantly she came and attended the programme.
With tears in her eyes, she told us that this programme is just like a spiritual and meditation programme and gave her the solace to her disturbed mind and felt so happy that she had attended the programme.
Now I learnt a lesson that when we are thrown in any real situation in life, this programme will definitely help us to face the same.

Facilitator
One more example, how the Citizen SBI Programme provides motivation and solace to disturbed minds!!!

How strange!
ReplyDeleteTwo experiences from two distant centres - this one and the other one from Indore just above this post - so far but so similar.
