Heart Talks

11th Jan, 2010 (07.25 AM)
My dear Bisht,
I am extremely happy and thrilled to read your article "I have found my Guru" with great interest. You have gone deep into yourself with your self analysis. In tamil we use the term 'Idhayam Pesugirathu' which means the 'Heart talks'. In your soliloquy it is your heart which is in full flow.

I know you as a very pleasant and committed participant in FDP & B S classes at State Bank Staff College, Hyderabad where I had the fortune of working. I had the taste of your sincerity and hard work even in those days ( is it between 1999 - 2000?) as a trainer. Now you have gone ahead in leaps and bounds. I am sure the 'Citizen' journey since the middle of last year is the right platform which has helped you (as well as many others) to travel deep within you and 'rediscover' a new Jagat Bisht . I am happy and proud to be associated with you through this wonderful programme.

I do agree with you that the entire credit for designing such a classic programme / intervention should go to Shri. V Srinivas and Co. Very often in the classroom participants pay a tribute to the authors of this programme which talks mainly about themselves and their welfare. In one of the classes one participant actually mentioned that if any similar 'Self Development' programme has to be attended by an individual on his / her own it could cost around Rs.15,000/ - to Rs.20,000/- .

So our participants are also very happy and proud that our Citizen Chairman Shri. O P Bhatt has made it possible for each and every one of the two lac and odd employees of SBI to have the benefit of such a beautiful 'self discovery' programme free of cost. An achievement which no other organization ( of our size) in the world can really boast of.
