It is very heartening to know that our esteemed Chairman made a surprise visit to the Pink City on 17th Dec, 2009 and had interactions with the participants of 'Citizen SBI'.
How fortunate those participants are to have a first hand experience of meeting our Chairman in person and sharing their thoughts!
I have been observing our participants in my classes whenever Chairman's address is there on day two of 'Citizen Orientation Programme' as a fitting finale. Their faces glow on seeing him on the screen and they are all ears in listening to him.
At one point towards the end of his speech (integrating 'Citizenship into us) he asks ".....do you agree?..." Many participants in the class always reply immediately by saying saying "..Yes Sir." (may be for a moment forgetting that our Chairman is seen only on the screen). But for them it is as if he is asking them in person. Such is the impact of his speech. How nice it would be if our Chairman is able to make a similar surprise visit to our classes too.
