MOMENTS OF INNER FULLNESS

I would like to share the moments of inner fullness participant shared:

A lady participant narrated citizen story which was chosen by her group as well for sharing with the class. She had full time maid at her residence who stayed with her family for quite some time. One day in the evening the maid was not feeling well when this lady reached home from her office , she thought the maid will get well soon , but she did not and got worse by night , then she thought she should take her to hospital , she called the maid’s house and told her mother that the maid is not well and they take her so that they can ensure good treatment for her the way they desire but the reply came that she can take care herself , they are not coming to take the maid away. Now this lady decided since her maid’s health is deteriorating , to take her to the hospital without any further delay. She spoke to her husband to extend helping hand to her to enable her to take the maid to hospital but he did not , in fact he refused , but then she took a bold step, despite being a lady she alone took her to the hospital in the middle of night , ensured the required best treatment but the maid ultimately died . The hospital authorities said they will give the body only to maid’s family members and not to this lady . They wanted to ensure that there is no foul play in this . The maid’s mother was called and when she came she said this lady is more than mother to the maid because whenever maid went to her home she would not stay back at her home , she would always be in hurry to get back to this lady because she used to be so good to her . These words of mother of the maid ensured hospital authorities that there is no foul play involved and the body was handed over. All the rites for the maid were ultimately performed by this lady participant and she shared with the whole group that she had the feeling of inner strength , satisfaction of having done the good work with having human approach towards the maid and attending to her timely without loss of time. There was a big round of applause for her by the whole class.
